**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
The Treasury team in the Treasury & Accounting Department primary role is to manage and optimize the assets and liabilities to maximize the profit of the Bank by managing funds of the branches and place funds while ensuring liquidity, interest rate, and market risks are maintained within the Bank’s risk appetite. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Treasury & Accounting; Analyst will be responsible for ALM, OSFI reporting, capital and liquidity risk management for the Bank.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:
**Asset & Liability Management**
- Ensure the best-in class ALM practices for the Bank
- Devise financial planning of funding structure, financial portfolio and asset and liability rebalancing strategies

**ALCO**
- Prepare and coordinate ALCO agenda and materials and present ad-hoc issues on asset & liability management
- Review and manage ALCO policy

**Reporting**
- Risk ratio watch: Leverage ratio, Capital ratios, Liquidity ratios
- RDM validation
- Scenario stress test for IRRBB
- Manage/review reports for liquidity risk, capital ratios and other treasury related matters including IRRBB reporting to OSFI, Parent bank and others

**Capital and Liquidity Management**
- Maintain the liquidity level of the Bank by managing key liquidity risk indicators such as LCR, NCCF, Liquidity/interest rate gap and long term funding ratio
- Manage and forecast liquidity risk indices
- Manage/review leverage ratio, risk-based capital ratio, RWA
- Monitor/review IRRBB
- Manage Risk Data Mart for accurate reporting/analysis
- Review and adhere to the policies, guidelines and manuals related to treasury

**Financial Analysis and other related works**
- Analyze net Interest margin
- Manage forecasting/analyzing deposits and payment trends
- Manage forecasting for cash flow and conduct gap mismatch analytics incl. NII impact
- Manage funding plan from forecasting treasury portfolio
- Participate in ad-hoc projects

**Risk management**
- Update the work manuals to date in greater details and train back-up person
- Ensure reviewing the work manuals for back-up and provide back-up services
- Meet the requirements from internal audit and OSFI
- Ensure understanding of internal policies and regulatory guidelines
- Ensure the efficient share file management and spreadsheet management
- Review and update related internal policies and guideline annually

**Communication**
- Provide interim status updates if necessary
- Escalate the potential issues as early as possible
- Communicate well within the team and with other stakeholders

**Education Requirements**

Bachelor’s degree in business related field with an emphasis in finance or accounting, or equivalent combination of education
- 5-10 years of experience in a Treasury environment in a financial institution or professional consulting firm
- Demonstrated experience with a solid understanding of financial institutions, banking systems, and the OSFI regulations
- Strong analytical, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively as a team
- Ability to Interpret the financial related reports and provide recommendations to support senior management’s decision-making on the Bank’s funds management
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with senior management and business partners
