Logistics Coordinator

Role accountabilities
- Execute defined solutions to meet Client expectations
- 8:30am - 5pm shift
- Grow and enhance the front-end relationship with clients in the assigned portfolio.
- Identify and foster profitable growth within the assigned client portfolio.
- Enter all orders, record shipping details and updates accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide accurate rates to clients that are reflective of market rates, services provided, and geographies travelled utilizing the resources available in Fleet Manager Pro.
- Regularly correspond with the Client to follow up on freight movements, solve complex service issues, address inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for further growth and development of the client relationship.
- Extreme ownership of track & trace for assigned client orders; ensure tracing board is clear and updated at the end of every shift
- Approve accessorial charges and invoices issued on behalf of common carriers
- Proactively communicate all freight acquisitions to the Innovation Lead
- Cross train to ensure complete service continuity during absences
Education, skills & attributes required
- 2-3+ Years Experience - Client Relations
- 1-2 Years Experience - Brokerage & Carrier Relations
- 2-3+ Years Experience - Transportation & Logistics Industry
- Exceptional Oral & Written Communication Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of the geography of Canada & USA required
- Flexible Availability
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
