**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Planning and Coordination**:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, and resource requirements for plumbing installations and maintenance projects.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.
- Schedule and assign tasks to plumbing teams and our subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
- **Team Management**:
- Lead and manage Mechanical teams, providing clear direction and oversight.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and resolve conflicts or issues as they arise.
- **Budget and Cost Management**:
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.
- Approve expenditures and track project costs to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for materials and equipment.
- **Quality Assurance and Compliance**:
- Ensure all plumbing, HVAC, fire protection & refrigeration work complies with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections to verify the quality of installations and repairs.
- Address any non-conformance issues and implement corrective measures.
- **Risk Management**:
- Identify project risks, including delays, cost overruns, and safety concerns.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed.
- **Communication and Reporting**:
- Provide regular progress updates
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, permits, RFIs working with our project coordinators.
- Prepare and present final project evaluations and recommendations for improvements.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is a plus.
- **Experience**:
- Proven experience in a Mechanical Contractors project management or a related role.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing, Hvac, Fire protection & Refrigeration systems, installations, and repair processes.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications**:Licensed Plumber mandatory**:
- **Key Competencies**:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making expertise.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
**Working Conditions**
- Ability to work on construction sites and in office settings.
- Willingness to travel to project locations as needed.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during critical project phases.
