**Alair Homes is the fastest growing residential construction company partnership in North America. Our locally owned and operated Nanaimo location is seeking an experienced, hardworking, and enthusiastic team member to fill the role of Project Manager.**

**A project management position with Alair is a multi-faceted and challenging one. Your attitude is an important factor along with experience in construction, project management and site supervision. You must be proficient with technology; the role is approximately divided 60% desk time and 40% on site.**

Our vision for this position is someone who will work directly with clients, trusted designers, and trades to fully develop and construct beautiful custom homes following our process-driven system.**
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- Manage all aspects of luxury/custom home construction
- Proactively maintain daily communications with independent contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.
- Verify and approve invoices for completed, satisfactory work.
- Track, code, and report on construction costs.
- Use your creative problem-solving skills to resolve construction and budget issues.
- Ensure all site policies are adhered to, especially safety and cleanliness standards.
- Provide regular communication with homeowners to inform them of progress on their homes and build and maintain goodwill throughout the construction process.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Owner
- **Qualifications**:_
- Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floorplans.
- Must possess deep expertise in standard construction practices.
- Proven ability to deliver on time and on budget.
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- **Skill**:_
- 5 years plus prior experience as a Construction Manager / Superintendent for a custom home builder having brought homes through all stages, from start to finish.
- Professionalism in manner and attire.
- Please have job related references at the ready if selected for interview.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, push and pull heavy items, stoop, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Vehicle required.

Job Details: Salary - $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 a year + Bonus Structure and Benefits
