**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Supervise children during play, meals, nap times, and structured activities
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving needs in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the classroom and ensure all materials are organized and sanitized
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual requirements
- Observe and document children's development to inform future planning and parent updates

**Requirements**:

- Prior classroom experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving best practices
- Strong ability to engage children through educational play and nurturing interactions
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and caregivers
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and well-being
- Ability to pass background checks and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification if not already held

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
