**Food Banks Alberta Position: Warehouse Coordinator (PT)**:

- The Warehouse Coordinator supports the organization with the pick-up of donations, and construction and delivery of mixed pallets of food. All for distribution to member food banks across Alberta. _

**Reports to**: Network Manager

**Status**: 2 Part-time positions

**Schedule**: Flexible schedule from Monday to Friday between 9:00-5:00pm, and/or some
evenings and Saturdays

**Compensation**: $18 per hour

**Location**: This position is located at the Food Banks Alberta Warehouse (#105, 3903 75thAve, Leduc AB, T9E0K3)

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Report to the Network Manager and work closely with the other warehouse staff, including the Food Procurement and Logistics Assistant, the Warehouse Coordinator, and Volunteers
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate information about the number and quality of products
- Load and unload products/pallets from shipment trucks; store them in proper area
- Pick, pack, wrap and label orders for member food banks
- Coordinate the shipment/pick up of pallets with the Food Procurement and Logistics Assistant, and the Warehouse Coordinator
- Provide direction and support to volunteers or groups to support our warehouse operations and food sharing
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and organized manner
- Assist the provincial office in supporting food banks during emergency situations

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 25-50 lbs regularly
- Able to stand and walk for 2-3 hours at a time
- Polite, courteous, and positive attitude. You would serve a diverse membership in the charity and non-profit community
- Team player but also strong individual achiever. Work alongside others but also remain responsible for own workload
- Attention to detail
- Experience with a forklift preferred, but not necessary; training available
- Experience with spreadsheet and databases preferred, but not necessary

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
