We are seeking a experienced Red Seal Roofer to join our team as a Consultant.
You will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule while contributing significantly to our commitment to excellence.
**Type of Employment**: Contract/Consultant (Flexible Schedule)
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct quality control inspections either onsite or virtually of roofing projects to ensure adherence to industry standards, building codes, and company specifications.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to roofing crews to improve quality and efficiency.
- Develop and deliver light training sessions to roofing crews on specific techniques, product knowledge, and safety procedures.
- Review project documentation, including contracts, blueprints, and material specifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest roofing technologies, materials, and best practices.
- Provide expert advice on roofing system selection and design.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, training sessions, and recommendations.
- Travel to various project sites as needed (within [Region/Area]).
**Required Skills**:
- Valid Red Seal Roofer certification.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of roofing, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Deep understanding of various roofing systems (e.g., asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tile, flat roofing).
- Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
- Excellent quality control and inspection skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently 1 and manage own schedule.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $23.47-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
Schedule:
