We are in search of a Virtual Reality Instructor who has:

- 1 or more years of instructing experience in Virtual Reality
- Enthusiastic and professional in teaching
- Ability to motivate students
- Experience teaching online

**Responsibilities**:

- Create an innovative environment for the students by preparing and executing activities that enhance the students’ knowledge of Virtual Reality using concepts from the field and incorporating hands-on VR simulations and projects.
- Ensure the atmosphere is inclusive, welcoming, and safe for all children
- Educate meaningful content to children between the ages 7-17 years in a virtual environment
- Provide weekly assessment reports on how the students are progressing, taking attendance daily
- Provide positive role-modelling for child participants and volunteers to the program, always be polite and helpful, and smile and greet both parents and children
- Create and conduct Virtual Reality lessons using age-appropriate content

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of classroom management in an online setting
- Ability to connect with students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Experience with Virtual Reality platforms, tools, and simulations

**Requirements**:

- Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance Check
- Teaching background in Virtual Reality with the ability to produce age-appropriate content
- Display a foundational understanding of the relationships between technology, engineering, computer sciences, and other related academic fields
- Ability to keep students engaged and focused in an online classroom setting if required
- Previous online teaching experience is considered an asset
- Access to a reliable internet connection as well as the ability to use communication platforms such as Zoom

**Who Should Apply?**

**Shifts**:
Evenings between 6:30 - 8:30 pm Eastern Time on select days that work with your schedule, 2-8 hours on the weekends as availability allows. Start times may vary.

June 20, 2025

**Work Location**:
Remote via Zoom

**Rate**:
$21.87 per hour
