Factory Acceptance Test Technician

**Summary**:
**Reporting to the Factory Acceptance Test Team (F.A.T.) Supervisor, the purpose of the **Factory Acceptance Test** **Technician **role is to perform mandated inspections, tests and documentation on assembled packages according to our F.A.T. procedure. The individual will be a Journeyman or apprentice instrumentation technician or electrician who has a continual focus on safety, cost control and customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position. You must also have experience producing quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed customer’s needs.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Mechanical inspections included in the Enerflex F.A.T. procedure
- P&ID and BOM checks included in the Enerflex F.A.T. procedure
- I & E and building electrical inspections included in the Enerflex F.A.T. procedure
- Red line project drawings and documentation for as - builts
- Review assembly documentation as per the Enerflex F.A.T. procedure
- Compose, update and maintain F.A.T. documentation including deficiency lists, test run reports, F.A.T. checklists, etc.
- Test run gas powered compressors and generators
- Communicate appropriately with customers and third-party inspectors during witnessed tests
- Perform daily safety requirements as per Enerflex’ health and safety policies

**Qualifications**:

- Possess a valid Alberta Journeyman Certificate or apprenticeship
- Ability to read and interpret instrumentation drawings, Electrical drawings, P&ID’s, Data Sheets and BOM’s
- Proficient in the use of windows-based PC’s and software
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent organization and communication skills, as well as being customer service focused
- Able to adapt to changing schedules and thrive in a small team environment
- High attention to detail including administrative processes (i.e. F.A.T. documentation, procedures, forms, etc.)
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
