**Overview** **Responsibilities** - Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. - Prepare and review financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and regulatory filings. - Manage general ledger accounting processes including account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing procedures. - Accounts payable including collections and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and accuracy. - Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records. - Lead internal controls implementation and monitor adherence to policies to safeguard organizational assets. - Coordinate external audits and prepare audit schedules as required. - Support regulatory reporting obligations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards. - Utilize Sage accounting software. - Manage payroll processing. - Collaborate with the President to develop budgets and financial forecasts aligned with organizational goals. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Operational Duties as required. - Inventory control/management. - Clerical duties as required. - Import document processing. **Requirements**: - Extensive experience in accounting roles with a focus on corporate accounting. - Strong knowledge of GAAP. - Proficiency in Sage accounting software. - Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, account reconciliation, cash and inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and technical accounting concepts. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately. - Experience managing accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll systems. - Knowledge of internal controls implementation and audit coordination processes. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated finance professional to contribute significantly to organizational success through expert financial oversight and strategic planning. - Ability to work in a "bullpen" office environment and provide administrative support to both the President and Sales Team. Compensation in addition to the yearly salary includes a health spending account, quarterly and yearly admin bonus. Office hours are Monday thru Friday 7am until 4pm Vacation time is 3 weeks (15 working days) per year for the 1st 5 years and 4 weeks (20 working days) after 5 years. Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
