To continue our growth and success, the company requires the services of a **Quality Control Technician.**Working out of our head office, this position will have quality assurance and technical support responsibilities pertaining to all aspects of production, from the input of raw materials, through production processes, to the finished product, and delivery to the customer.

The specific duties of the position will include:

- Performing various concrete tests (slump, air content, strength, etc.) both at ready-mix plants and in the field.
- Performing aggregate sampling as per CSA.
- Implementing and adhering to the company's quality control program, ensuring that all operations and paperwork comply with relevant standards and regulations.
- Providing technical assistance to production staff, educating drivers on mixes and testing procedures, and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving quality issues.
- Reviewing and entering compressive strength data into the quality database.
- Overseeing Quality Control at the production level.
- Minimum one (1) year of comparable work experience.
- Relevant educational background.
- Strong data-collection, analytical and research skills.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time well, and stay organized.
