**Position Overview**
**EastCann** is seeking a **Quality Control Technician** to support daily quality operations and ensure regulatory compliance with Health Canada’s Cannabis Regulations. Reporting to the Quality Control Lead, this role focuses on in-process checks, environmental monitoring, and maintaining documentation to support consistent product quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform in-process quality checks during production
- Collect environmental and product samples for testing
- Verify sanitation using ATP meters or similar tools
- Monitor and log temperature, humidity, calibration, and cleaning activities
- Maintain and organize quality control records for inspections and audits
- Follow and enforce SOPs related to quality and sanitation
- Support investigations and corrective/preventative actions (CAPAs)
**Qualifications**
- Must be 19+ years old
- Post-secondary education in a science-related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in a regulated or quality-focused production environment is an asset
- Background in cannabis, food, pharma, or cosmetics is an advantage
**Physical & Environmental Requirements**
- Comfortable working in environments with allergens, chemicals, dust, odours, bright lights, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to navigate production areas that may include heights and exposure to water
