Retail Visual Merchandiser, 15-month Term Opportunity

The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a **Retail Visual Merchandiser, 15-month Term **within our **Home Office** located at **147 Commerce Drive** in **Winnipeg, MB**.**

As a Retail Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for floor and assortment planning for all Dufresne locations. You will collaborate will internal teams and third-party partners to bring our brand to life through showcasing product assortments in our retail stores.

**As a Retail Visual Merchandiser, you will**:

- Collaborate with Category Management and Marketing to develop comprehensive and highly appealing go-to-market strategies that include product position and POP.
- Conceptualize, set, and guide showroom layout and displays.
- Coach visual team and store operations on floor sets, visual standards, signage updates, gallery maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Act as a resource to support all areas of visual presentation.
- Create aesthetically appealing on-brand visual display and store standards.
- Plan, implement, and draft store floor layouts through the use of AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with Buyers, Suppliers, and other key operating divisions to execute consumer driven stores.
- Create interior and exterior architectural renderings that align with brand guidelines/concepts.
- Post-secondary education in design or equivalent experience in related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of design principles: composition, balance, scale, contrast-theory, etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite an asset.
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn in-house programs.
- Ability to work independently and on a team, with ability to time-manage and meet multiple deadlines at a time.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
