Visual Merchandising Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join Retail Team as our **Visual Merchandising Coordinator.**

**THE DETAILS**:
**You'll be joining our Head Office team at 70 Lexington Park, Winnipeg, MB. This is a full time, one year term position**
- You'll assist to formulate, and maintain successful merchandising, visual presentation, and brand positioning of all EQ3 stores through regular communication and rigid documentation
- You'll carry out seasonal plans to create stores that are visually inspiring
- You'll coordinate order entry, tracking and planning for product orders for store flips, window displays and installations
- You'll drive sales through efficient merchandising
- You'll verify and understand floor model transfers and stock adjustments
- You'll work with the store manager and regional visual coordinator to adjust the floor plan to drive sales based on data and good reasoning
- You'll follow current corporate guidelines and trends in visual merchandising
- You'll replenish stock as needed
- You'll coordinate staff support when needed through the store manager
- You'll help with store renovations and special projects as needed
- You'll collaborate with the assistant manager to supervise the maintenance of the sales floor
- You'll assist with all aspects of pricing showroom (regular tagging, sales, price reductions, etc)
- You'll set up promotional signage on time
- You'll communicate necessary ideas / adjustments to regional visual coordinator

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- Certificate or diploma in a field related to design or at least 2 years of merchandising experience
- Proficiency in operating systems including sales terminal and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and skills in AutoCAD and InDesign are an asset
- Order entry capabilities and knowledge of Storis and AS400
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans, construction and interior design documents
- Experience or interest in furniture and design
- Knowledge or interest in retail business and trends
- Detail-oriented approach to all aspects of the job
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders to perform work at elevated heights
- Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment
