We currently have an opportunity for a qualified **Hybrid Service Technician**. This is an excellent opportunity for a high energy, enthusiastic, and motivated self starter to play an important role within our Service Team located in our Toronto Head Office (Victoria Park and Steeles).
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Electronics Technologist/Technician diploma - New Grads are welcome to apply
- Repair, install, test, instruments at customer's site and in-house
- Troubleshoot, replace or repair electronic & mechanical equipment, assemblies and components using the equipment’s service manuals, parts list, and schematic diagrams, using multimeters, and other electronic test instruments and tools
- Follow internal procedures, place parts orders for customer repairs
- Perform preventative and customer-initiated maintenance at customer site and in-house as defined by a service contract
- Remain up to date with assigned jobs and promptly complete pending estimates, and work orders
- Must be willing to travel to customer locations via own vehicle and on occasion may be required to travel by air across Canada
- Other duties as assigned
- **Requirements**:_
- Electronics Technician/Technologist diploma
- Working knowledge of instrumentation, robotics, automation, manufacturing, technician specialist
- Experience working with **ophthalmic** equipment will be an asset
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience with troubleshooting electronics and mechanical systems
- Can work independently, and be able to grow and promote the business
- Good computer knowledge plus proficient in Microsoft Office, able to adapt to our CRM
- Rapid and efficient work execution

- Capacity to communicate effectively and learn quickly
- Valid Ontario Drivers' licence
- Access to own reliable vehicle with sufficient storage capacity
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg/50 lbs, sometimes more with assistance

Pay: $50,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
