As a Quality Coordinator for our Solar Canada office, you will contribute to our team by:
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct bi-weekly audits on Solar Projects to ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, and timely turnover of quality and commissioning related documentation associated with the active construction work being performed on site.
- Conduct on site audits of ongoing Solar Projects, including review of Quality process, implementation of Quality controls, and execution of Quality plan according to project specifications.
- Support project teams in the creation of Project Specific Quality Documentation, as well as set up, and management of Quality Management Software
- Support the development of commissioning and quality plans directly with project teams and designated Project Quality Representatives, while ensuring commissioning and quality form checklists meet contractual requirements
- Support the creation and standardization of internal solar specific project documentation including but not limited to Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, Commissioning Plans, and Project Execution Plans.
- Support project teams in adhering to corporate guidelines, and in preparing for corporate audits including Operations Inspections for Excellence and ICS Project Quality Assessment
- Support the on-site management and perform auditing of quality and commissioning processes by subcontractors and self-perform crews
- Manage, monitor and report on the overall performance, and execution of commissioning and quality plans with project field teams
**Qualifications**:
- Postsecondary diploma/engineering degree in a related discipline or relevant industry/trade background.
- 3+ years of progressive experience with experience in utility-scale solar project construction
- On Site Field Management Experience implementing Quality Systems from a Superintendent level
- Knowledge of utility-scale solar construction industry, including building materials, construction specifications, methods in conjunction with procedures, safety, and quality management practices for more complex projects or scopes.
- Knowledge of virtual construction software and tools (Power BI, BIM, and Site Scan)
