Server / Bartender @ Colony Main

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

As a Server / Bartender, you enjoy the best of both worlds Comfortable operating on the floor and behind the bar, you will be deployed where you’re needed on a scheduled basis. In a Server capacity, you’ll be responsible for full table service, ensuring an outstanding guest experience. As a Bartender, you’ll be responsible for beverage service directly with our customers seated at the bar, and preparing drinks for your service colleagues’ table-seated guests. In both Server and Bartender shifts, you’ll focus on quality, consistency, cleanliness and collaboration. This hybrid role offers an experienced hospitality professional a varied experience and flexibility in a supportive, respectful environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains an enjoyable, supportive, respectful and professional working environment that inspires the highest standards in guest experience, and encourages return customers;
- Delivers the highest level of service quality, including making drinks to recipe, maintaining a clean working and service environment, and working efficiently and collaboratively to support others areas of operations (servers, BOH, security, leadership)
- Advises guests of special items, accurately takes drink and food orders, delivers when ready
- Maintains all products required by the bar: beer, wine, spirits, juices, glassware, consumables etc
- Maintains awareness and control within liquor cost targets, including nightly spillage tracking
- Rotation of inventory (particularly craft beer) to reflect seasonal and trend changes
- Maintains awareness of and adhere to prevailing legal requirements (Serving It Right, Company Policies and standard operating procedures, including but not limited to prohibition of free-pouring and consumption of alcoholic beverages while working
- Acts in quality control capacity for every item served, assesses customer satisfaction at critical service points (at service, immediately after, following meal)
- Seeks out opportunities to personalize the guest experience, within acceptable professional parameters
- Oversees quality control of all food and beverage service, coordinating between back and front of house

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of appropriate statutory regulations and guiding principles including but not limited to Liquor Act, local bylaws governing bars/pubs/restaurants
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and resolve patron issues in a professional, consistent manner
- Committed to continuous improvement and professional development
- Passion for customer service and working collaboratively to provide a first-class guest experience

**Salary**: $15.60 per hour
