Here at The Atlas° Hotel, our passion is to become Regina’s favorite hotel. We are independent, locally-owned, homegrown, and pride ourselves on investing in our property, fostering an amazing team, and creating exceptional experiences for our guests.
We are currently looking for an Executive Chef to take the lead in overseeing our entire kitchen operations here at the hotel. We take pride in our food, and have a reputation for delicious food and beverage offerings, and we need **you** to help us continue to offer an amazing culinary experience to our guests Our hotel has two kitchens on property, one being our Banquet Kitchen where weddings, events, and conferences are the focus, as well as a Restaurant and Pub Kitchen which provides food for our onsite restaurant and Knotted Thistle Pub. A few of the job duties that make up this role are:
- Planning and developing of menus
- Ability to bring new and creative ideas for weddings, specials, menu ideas, and presentation techniques
- Ensure food meets quality standards
- Use financial management skills for budgetary and cost control purpose
- Manage two kitchen crews and handle performance reviews, coaching, training and learning & development
- Managing inventory and food costs
- Scheduling of all Crew members in both kitchens
- The Executive Chef position is not only an administrative position, but also acts as hands-on support & relief for the Sous Chefs as required for holidays and day's off
