**Position**:Child Care Centre Supervisor
**Location**: 418 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, ON

**Responsibilities**:
As a **Centre Supervisor**, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

- Managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
- Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
- Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
- Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
- Providing effective communication with families about their child.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations
- Meet all provincial requirements for employment in the childcare field.
- Hold a current certification in Standard First Aid and infant child CPR.
- Maintain up-to-date immunization and health assessment in accordance with local Minister of Health Requirements.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K2H 8A6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
