Summary:
Ontario Pavement Products Group (OPPG), a division of Miller Paving Limited, has immediate openings for Winter Works Combo/Plow Operators. As a Winter Works Combo/ Plow Operator, You Will:

- The safe and efficient operation of the spreader, plow wing, combo unit or tow to perform the clearing of local roads as per the contract requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation including but not limited to, fuel reports, safety reports and hours of service
- Maintain/clean equipment and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as required
- Operate specialized equipment, including winter equipment, as trained and as required
- Carry out road maintenance activities, facility maintenance and yard maintenance as required

What You'll Bring:

- Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and ability to drive manual transmission
- Previous experience in winter works operations, considered an asset
- Ability to operate winter combination units
- Available to respond to call-in times within thirty minutes
- Ability to remain flexible with shift schedules, and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays)
- Have mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs as required
- Appreciation for a high level of efficient and quality work
- Effective communication (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
