**Reports To**: Regulatory Compliance Supervisor

**Location**: 9 Napoleon Road, Barrie (hybrid)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud to create and revise multi-language instruction manuals, leaflets, specification sheets, and labels (including templates, charts, and tables). Carefully consider customer requirements such as language, nomenclature, naming conventions, brand awareness, industry standards, certification, formatting, building codes, accessibility, regulatory constraints, etc. Maintain thorough understanding of company product, attributes, and critical features to develop technical documentation.
- Create product and packaging labels (rating, data, warning, shipping, barcode, etc.). Arrange for in-house printing where applicable, using Labelview, NiceLabel, or similar software.
- Maintain accurate part numbers, revisions, and dates in the internal database (ERP system) and online. Collaborate with Engineering Systems Coordinators to ensure all technical documents (including revisions) are associated to the correct Engineering Master and are accurately maintained.
- Author R&D ISO documents, training materials, forms, templates, standard operating procedures, and engineering standards across all product divisions. Facilitate collaboration between team members and bring working groups together to support the creation of these assets.
- Distribute technical documentation to translators as required with consideration to project schedule.
- Participate in physical audits to validate accuracy and completeness of technical documents (EPR's, process runs, PPET, etc.).
- Collaborate with other departments including Marketing and Sales to provide technical information to be used with brochures.
- Work with suppliers to ensure accuracy of content and material specifications prior to printing.

**Education & Experience**:

- High School Diploma; Post-secondary/College Diploma or University Degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in related industry
- Technical Writing certificate is considered an asset
- Must be experienced in Adobe Creative Suite CS4 or higher (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), SolidWorks Composer, NiceLabel Pro, and Labelview
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player with a focus on internal and external customer excellence
- Highly motivated by challenge, innovation, and excellence
- Excellent organizational skills
- Copywriting and the ability to translate into French, Spanish, etc. are considered assets
