**Building Superintendent**

Maple Avenue Properties is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Superintendent Partner team for our residential building in **Burlington**, Ontario. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated couple to work together and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and resident satisfaction of our property. A comfortable apartment is provided for the Superintendent Partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform maintenance in common areas, vacant, and occupied units.
- Clean common areas and vacant units.
- Prepare apartments for new residents according to company policy.
- Distribute correspondence and notices.
- Respond to tenant concerns and complete maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Facilitate move-ins and move-outs, completing all necessary paperwork and taking photos as required.
- Liaison with head office staff.
- Monitor building mechanical and fire systems.
- Conduct regular property inspections.
- Maintain interior and exterior common areas.
- Provide backup support for building managers as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent and detailed cleaning skills.
- General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Knowledge of and experience in general property management policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call availability for emergencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Experience**:

- 2-3 years of Property Management experience preferred.

**Expected Start Date**: Immediately

**Location**: 480 Maple Avenue, Burlington, Ontario L7S 1M4

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- On call
