**Responsibilities**:
- Work daily with the Facility stakeholders to ensure strategies are aligned.
- Support Planning and Scheduling team
- Hiring, orientation, performance, and career development of employees in a union environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring for personnel; Relationship building through commitment, pride, honesty, and trust.
- Champion a Planning and Scheduling maintenance environment
- Being an active steward of the environment and H&S by supporting the PMC Operations Management System.
- Lead the development/improvement of equipment condition monitoring programs using Proactive maintenance concepts and techniques.
- Reinforce key performance indicators that support a disciplined approach to precision maintenance while ensuring highest standards of safety for our people and assets.
- Prioritizing maintenance activities that align with Plains’ reliability and mechanical integrity programs.
- Achieve equipment availability and reliability targets set by Facility Team Leads.
- Support of continuous improvements to work management and execution.
- Support the maintenance of critical spare parts and equipment lists.
- Liaising with internal and external customers on daily basis.
- Vendor management for area of responsibility.
- Developing and managing O&M budgets and Capital budgets for area of responsibility.
**Qualifications**:
- Electrical and/or Instrumentation certification required, preference to dual-certification.
- 10 years as a certified Tradesperson;
- 5 years of formal leadership experience in an operating oil and gas facility.
- Extensive background in electrical equipment and plant process equipment and instrumentation, control systems, PLC/DCS.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Ability to lead teams with diverse skill sets during period of change and achieve results.
- Energetic, well-organized, self-motivated with effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Motivated with a willingness to advance to greater challenges.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Knowledge of Maximo or relevant CMMS
- Safety-sensitive position
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks.
- Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.
- Primary residency within 120 KM of the Fort Saskatchewan facility is required.
- Standard site qualifications: H2S Awareness, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSE
