**Job Title**: Futures and Hedging Specialist

**Location**: G3 Head Office, Winnipeg (On-Site)

The Futures and Hedging Specialist is responsible for execution of futures orders to hedge cash positions for all hedgable commodities. This role develops and maintains relationships with assigned trading partners, and adjusts futures positions as required to maintain hedge positions and to execute strategic positions as directed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operates the hedge desk and ensures all cash purchases are hedged in the appropriate market
- Ensures Program positions and P&L’s are recorded in the appropriate systems correctly on a daily basis
- Ensures execution of grain pricing orders
- Works with cash Traders to manage customer pricing orders and EFP’s as required

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Post-secondary degree in Business or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trading commodities for both cash and futures
- Working knowledge of cash, futures and options trading
- Knowledge of GAFTA, NGFA, NAEGA, FOSFA rules
- Knowledge of CBOT, ICE, and MNPLS
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset
