**C**Renewed Family Services Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Contract Communication Disorders Assistants (CDAs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As) to join our team. We are committed to providing high-quality, individualized support to individuals with disabilities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP, following established protocols and procedures.
- Provide direct therapy to individuals with disabilities, focusing on communication, language, and/or feeding/swallowing skills (depending on qualifications and training).
- Collect and document data on client progress, including session notes and observations.
- Assist with the preparation of therapy materials and resources.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Adapt treatment activities to meet the individual needs and preferences of clients.
Position Requirements:
- CDA certification or SLP-A experience
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and implement treatment plans accurately.
- Proficiency in data collection and record keeping.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Access to a vehicle is preferred
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $39.48-$50.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
