**Salary**: $15 an hour plus tips
Shift: Full time and Part time. Hiring 5 servers
Schedule: Afternoon (After 4 pm) and evenings

Sauce is a new contemporary casual Caribbean restaurant in the city of Edmonton with a warm and inviting atmosphere along with a Caribbean upbeat vibe with live DJ’s and entertainment. SAUCE will have Instagram worthy Caribbean dishes that remix crowd favorites from all over the Caribbean to bring unique dishes to the people of Edmonton.
We are looking for amazing people to join our team and make this one of the best places to dine a in the city.

Our restaurant is about creating an atmosphere where people can connect with each other over good food and drinks behind a back drop of a Caribbean water front lounge with luscious colours, greenery, wood, metal and the sound of the Caribbean. As a server you would be a major asset in the atmosphere we are trying to create.

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn menu in order to answer patrons questions
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make food and drink suggestions
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take-action to correct any problems
- Collect payments from tables
- Communicate clearly to the kitchen of food allergies and preferences
- Help food preparation staff when necessary
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests
- Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars
- Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- Collect payment from patrons honestly and accurately
- Perform basic cleaning tasks in the dining area
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer them to management when necessary

**Experience**:

- Previous serving experience required
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Food Handling Certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Must speak fluent English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
