- Responsible for the daytime planning operations. Must ensure plans optimize equipment, costs and service.
- Responsible to lead the Truckload operations, ensuring Truckload maximizes equipment, costs, and service.
- Responsible for the supervision, training, and development of all Planners and Truckload coordinators.
- Required to lead team meanings, deliver KPI results, and drive actions for improvement. A key contributor in leading Daily Management in the Linehaul team.
- Responsible for ensuring a proper shift handoff occurs between incoming and outgoing planning groups.
- Support any business process improvement initiatives. Must have strong system knowledge.
- Education Required: Trade Certification or College Diploma in a related field would be an asset
- Years of Experience Required:

- 5 years of dispatch transportation experience
- Minimum of 3 years management and/or supervision experience would be an asset
- Strong computer skills, with intermediate abilities in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create detailed reports using different software
- Previous experience using AS 400/Cognos would be an asset
