**The Position**:
Reporting to the Director, Project Services, Project Managers at F12 are responsible for the delivery of our largest and most complex engagements. Their responsibilities include all project management, scheduling, client communication, and internal process meetings. The Project Manager ensures the project technicians’ time is used effectively and the project is kept within the budget and time allotted. This is achieved through creation of key project deliverables and closely measuring the project process through completion. The Project Manager will have a fully decentralized team of Project Technicians to schedule and coordinate. Developing strong relationships with the Project Team members and other internal departments is key to success in this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Project Management:_
- Manage the planning and execution of client projects within their region.
- Maintain a project portfolio ensuring consistent progress toward deliverables.
- Successfully guide projects through delivery phases: Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closure
- Manage stakeholder communications during all phases of the project process.
- Ensure project objectives and deliverables are clear.
- Ensure client is updated on progress regularly.
- Ability to successfully communicate project plan, deliverables, and updates to various stakeholder roles.
- Effectively manage scope creep utilizing strong change management procedures
- Work with internal teams to ensure services are properly assigned, and client contracts/invoices are current and accurate.
- Manage project calendar and input regular updates/notes in internal tools.
- Resource Management:_
- Manage resource tasks and delivery timelines while assigned to client projects.
- Manage technical project resources.
- Efficiently schedule projects using Critical Path methodology
- Maintain F12 quality though excellent service delivery.
- Schedule and run all project related meetings with project team and stakeholders as required.
- Meetings include planning, update, closure, lessons learned.
- Improve project delivery process.
- Schedule post project analysis
- Evaluate project results, identify problems, uncover trends.
- Project Management Office:_
- Responsible for Project Process and Project Results
- Work with the Solution Design team on developing/reviewing Project Charters
- Ensure national standard policies and procedures are being followed by the Project Team
- Project Managers may participate in Sales workshops to initiate a relationship with the onboarding client earlier in the process.
**Requirements**:
- Project Management experience, preferably in an IT Managed Services environment where project delivery requirements spanned multiple engagements and client accounts.
- PMP Certification is an asset.
- Technical Project Management Experience (Virtualization, Server Implementation, IT Infrastructure Projects)
- Proven Project Management experience in managing technical resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of computer proficiency (industry experience an asset)
- Ability to multi-task
- Highly detail oriented
- Formal training/certification in Project Management (may include ITIL certifications)
