**Responsibility**
- Conduct construction QA/QC monitoring, inspection, and testing of asphalt, granular materials, subgrade and concrete.
- Perform material rolling patterns and determine in-situ density using a nuclear densometer gauge.
- Conduct laboratory and field testing of asphalt, soils and concrete.
- Support engineering staff with project coordination and report preparation.
- Prepare daily field reports documenting site activities, testing results, and project updates.
- Perform site visits to gather information, carry out construction site reviews and attend project design and construction meetings.
- Assist engineering teams in developing operating procedures, safety protocols, and laboratory testing programs.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Nova Scotian driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel within and outside of Nova Scotia.
- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- CET/EIT designation is considered an asset.
- Understanding of construction materials testing would be a significant asset.

Pay: $17.87-$32.00 per hour
