ADESA Vancouver is one of ADESA Canada's 14 wholesale vehicle auctions that are located across Canada, coast to coast and the employer of choice in the Canadian automotive remarketing industry.
As a Transport Driver, you will be assigned to drive a variety of vehicles to & from our vehicle logistic centers (ADESA locations), providing our customers with local pick up & delivery services. You may also provide assistance with inventory moves within the ADESA lot. We are looking to hire multiple drivers to aid with moving vehicles across the lower mainland, into the Interior of BC and to beautiful Vancouver Island

**General Employment Details**:
**Casual** (8 - 32 Hours/ week) available
Shifts available All week, Monday - Fridays No Evenings
**Hours**: 8:30am-5:00pm
**Hourly Rate**: $16.75
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, as well as pick up and deliver vehicles while observing auction driving rules, rules of the road, demonstrating courteous and defensive driving principles.
- Accurately input data using CarsArrive app pre/post delivery
- Must be safety conscious and ensure that vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakes using our pre-trip safety process.
- Report all incidents properly and immediately per established procedures.
- Represent the auction in a professional and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service and demonstrating teamwork
- May be assigned to work in the yard to assist with vehicle inventory moves & lot turn.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Educational/Experience Requirements**:
- Valid driver's license required (Class 5 Minimum)
- Satisfactory drivers' abstract & criminal record check required.
- Ability to drive a standard transmission preferred.
- Basic computer & smartphone skills required.
- Must be comfortable driving long distances (up to 2.5 hours one way)
- Must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, as our shifts may vary based on business volume.
- Sound knowledge of the lower mainland
