Position Summary:
The Housing Support Worker supports and facilitates the daily activities of residents related to each individual’s recovery plan. We are seeking out casual support to aide in providing coverage during holidays and weekends.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education related to healthcare or human services preferred
- Current First Aid Certification required

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

- Ability to be flexible to meet different shift schedules as required
- Ability to respond to immediate resident issues while maintaining work on long term
goals
- Ability to provide a functional assessment of observed behavior
- Thorough knowledge of life skills and ability to teach same
- Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

- Implements the residential recovery plan
- Organizes and facilitates psycho-social education in individual and group settings
- Organizes, facilitates and assists in the performance of routine household tasks
