Lysander Funds is an independent Investment Fund Manager headquartered in Toronto with regional offices in Montréal and Vancouver. We offer investment products to investment and mutual fund advisors and their clients with the aim of helping investors reach their long-term financial goals. The Vice President, Sales will work closely with investment and mutual fund advisors in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The Vice President, Sales will work successfully in a team environment and build effective and collaborative working relationships inside and outside the team while maintaining professionalism and a passion for sales. This role reports to the Vice President, National Sales.
This is a full-time role working remotely from Winnipeg, although in the future Lysander Funds may require the role to work in Lysander’s office if one is established in Manitoba.
**Responsibilities**
- Service an established network of CIRO advisor teams who have entrusted us with their client’s savings.
- Qualify prospective clients and develop new relationships to drive new business.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and calls with advisors to further the sales objectives of Lysander Funds.
- Work with the sales team to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Work closely with a Business Development Manager, Sales based in Toronto.
- Document client meetings through CRM database.
- Enhance the reputation of Lysander Funds through ethical business practices and a dedication to client service.
- Travel throughout the region to meet Investment advisors in addition to regular travel to Toronto to collaborate with the sales team
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of three years of fund wholesaling experience.
- Completed Canadian Securities Course.
- Exceptional sales and presentation skills.
- A proven track record of sales success in meeting sales targets and corporate objectives.
- Business development and territory management experience.
- Knowledge of mutual funds, ETF products, portfolio management strategies and the financial industry.
- Well-developed strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
- An engaging professional presence.
