**BASIC JOB SUMMARY**:Manages the detailing shop opposite to the Re-conditioning Manager. They assist in maintaining safety protocols, ensures that works assigned is complete, quality control. Works shoulder to shoulder with detailing team in cleaning vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records related to gas levels and the condition of the vehicle.

Job Duties:

- Work with the Service department to ensure that new and used vehicles are cleaned, waxed, detailed, and prepared in a timely, and thorough manner.
- Duties include vacuuming and steam cleaning interiors and detailing vehicle interiors, washing, and polishing exteriors, and carrying out minor repairs to damaged paint work.
- Complete every job according to dealership standards at all times.
- Keep work area clean, free of clutter, and presentable in appearance.
- Must follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
- Train all new team member on clean up procedures and operations.
- Maintain all shop equipment that they are in working
- Take on additional overflow of vehicle that need to be detailed

Assist Re-conditioning Manager with building maintenance (includes but not limited to):

- Shop floors and walls
- Exterior lot and Trash bins
- Lunch room and restrooms
- Assist Re-conditioning Manager with quality control
- Check all vehicles with flashlight and detailing tool to follow up on workmanship of the team
- Required to stay until all vehicles are 100% complete which includes any vehicles being complete by other team members
- Attend all Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meeting as an active participant
- Assists** **Re-conditioning Manager with Health & Safety Monthly Inspections
- Ensure that team wearing safety shoes and in proper dress code for the Clean-up department.
- Co-ordinate used car clean up with Reconditioning Manager and Merchandizer

This position will be expected to perform other duties outside the Clean Up Shop, this includes but not limited to:

- Maintaining the outside lot and trash bins
- Assisting with snow removal and salting of Attrell owned properties
- Assisting with lot maintenance of Attrell owned properties
- Additional cleaning duties (not vehicle related) as assigned

- Some knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance with previous detail experience is preferred.
- A valid Ontario G Driver’s License in good standing.
