Green Cedar Homes Inc is a Custom Home builder building in and around Calgary We are growing and building in more communities which means we are seeking an **Experienced Service / Warranty Technician **for Green Cedar Attention to detail, quality, & craftsmanship is what we are all about so having a passion for a perfectly built home is what we are looking for. In addition, you have the passion and desire to be a part of the team to provide people with the home of their dreams. We are looking for a responsible self-starter with exceptional customer service skills to help us manage our growing client base. New home construction knowledge is a must and adapting to high level change.

**Responsibilities**:
- To conduct pre-possession Orientations (walkthroughs) with clients, educating them on the homes’ attributes and generating a complete list of the homes’ defects and concerns for correction.
- To conduct effective reviews of the home with the client at 60 days and year end or as may be required from time to time.
- To ensure checklists are followed at 60 days and year end.
- Reviewing service warranty lists with homeowners; explaining which item will be rectified immediately & why
- To conduct monthly inspections/work at showhomes, to keep the warranty valid, and the operation of the showhome running smoothly.
- Advising of process to assign work to trades at a later date.
- Obtaining homeowners signature on completed items.
- Performing various repairs: ie: finishing, drywall, painting, maintenance, and clean up.
- Reviewing work orders on a daily basis and follow-up with homeowners to ensure work is complete.
- Preparing materials required to complete service work prior to visiting homeowner.
- Meeting with direct supervisor at designated time to discuss work completed and work to be assigned to trades.
- Address any complaints or inquiries forwarded by homeowners.
- Assist site supervisor with possession, walk throughs, attending client meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum 5+ years in residential home building.
- Several years’ experience in residential / commercial construction or renovations or repairs
- Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trades functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting, etc. is a requirement, as is knowledge of various tools and equipment
- Must have the ability to read and write in the English language at a basic level.
- Ability to coordinate several simultaneous tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and a flexible work style.
- Self-motivated with ability to work well independently.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and possess an excellent work ethic.
- General computer skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills in dealing with homeowners.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
