**Job Overview**
Urgently looking for a Vending Machine Attendant to help fill and service our vending machines in the Halifax and surrounding areas. Must have a valid driver's license and provide a criminal record check. Job requires you to be able to lift 50 lbs and work as part of a team as well as on your own, maintain warehouse, rotate stock and other duties as directed. Dependability and reliability is expected.

**Driver duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintenance: ensure that the company vehicle is clean, kept in good condition and up to date with service requirements
- Record keeping: Must be able to use a smart phone and log daily tasks into smart phone apps
- Packing the vehicle: Employees are responsible to load and unload their vehicles each day to accomplish their assigned tasks.
- Reporting: When issues arise, employees must report the issue to the Operations Manager so the problem can be rectified quickly
- Collections: Employees are required to collect Money and follow proper procedures for the handling and return of all funds collected.
- Getting news updates: Knowledge of the area is an asset. Drivers are responsible to determine their own route to travel each day and be able to find alternate routes during road closures or any accidents encountered.

**Driver Skills and Qualifications**
- Time management skills: Employees should be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner despite traffic or route changes
- Driving skills: Having the skills to be able to deliver company materials safely is extremely important
- Physically fit: Employees must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
- Problem-solving skills: The job applicant should have the ability to solve basic problems that may arise on the job such as traffic or route changes
- Driver’s license: A Driver must have a valid license in the province or territory they intend to work in
- Flexibility: A good Driver will be able to change their route or schedule to accommodate timelines set out by the company
- Communication skills: Employees should be able to relay any issues or problems to upper management that arise on the road
- Organizational skills: Employees must be able to work on their own as well as part of a larger team. They must have the ability to keep their vans clean and organized as well as be able to complete their daily tasks in an efficient and logical manner. Maintaining a warehouse, stock rotation, Filling and Servicing Vending Machines are all part of the daily work requirements.

**Driver Experience Requirements**

Employees must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

This is a full-time position. Salary is $18.00 per hour.
