We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional food service within our retirement living facility. The Dietary Aide will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that residents receive nutritious and appetizing meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This position is PART TIME 11:30a.m. -8:00p.m. 4 days in a two week period including a weekend. Requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and lead a team of 4.

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure that all food items are handled safely and in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food service equipment by following sanitation protocols.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during meal times, addressing any dietary concerns or preferences.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and assist with any additional tasks as required.
- Participate in training sessions related to food handling, sanitation practices, and dietary needs of residents.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks within designated timelines.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming dining experience for residents.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
