**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Handle tax filings, including HST, payroll deductions, WSIB, T4s, and year-end compliance
- Conduct bank reconciliations, process payments, reimbursements, and maintain general ledger entries
- Supervise and mentor finance team members to improve accuracy and performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
- Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and government agencies for audits and compliance
- Provide financial insights and reporting to support business decisions
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by senior leadership

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Canada plus 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficient in full-cycle bookkeeping, tax reporting, AR/AP, and financial statement preparation
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle NetSuite is an asset
- In-depth understanding of CRA regulations and corporate compliance
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal); Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA is preferred
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with strong time management and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
