Position is responsible to lead and direct all material distribution, logistics and AOG activities in support of Line Maintenance operations worldwide.
**Key Functions & Accountabilities**:
- Responsible for the logistics distribution of all materials to line maintenance locations across the system
- Ensures that resources are available when and where they are needed while maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing costs
- Responsible to ensure line materials are stored & distributed in accordance with company regulations
- Develop strategies and implement integrated processes for vendor direct shipping and receiving at line locations
- Interface with supply chain business functions to help effectively execute the planning/replenishment process
- Provides leadership, guidance and required training to union and management employees
- Responsible for development and implementation of policies and processes relating to logistics and distribution
- Responsible for the planning, procurement and management of line materials needed for AOG situations
- Monitor service level goals in support of Maintenance & Engineering division
- Oversee productivity and process improvement initiatives within Logistics and Line Maintenance operations
- Have ultimate accountability for and demonstrate actual performance against goals on a regular basis on behalf of the Corporation
- Be accountable to recognize, develop and engage talent in order to achieve high level of performance and to enable success.
**Qualifications**
- Experience in the aviation and transportation industry mandatory
- Experience with order replenishment systems
- Must have experience with integrated supply chain and logistic concepts
- Must be able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and convey the benefits to the organization
- Experience in supply chain inventory management, sourcing preferred
- Versed on regulatory (SOX) compliance requirements
- Must possess excellent and demonstrable project management skills and experience in delivering large projects
- Leadership and management of a large organization required including unionized employees
- Good conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Recognized ability to work under pressure, handle stressful situations and maintain flexibility

- University degree preferred in professional SCM/Logistics or transportation
- 10+ years of related experience in supply chain/logistics operations in an airline, manufacturing or distribution environment
