The Paris Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) is one of three Canadian PDCs that receives and distributes thousands of automotive service parts to our dealers across Canada, and is an integral part of the Ford Motor Company organization.

Position: Supply/Merchandising Intern

Work Location: Paris, ON

Work Model: Hybrid

- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in progress
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to deliver assignments with a value-add mind-set
- Interest in the automotive and/or material planning and logistics Industry

- Automotive work and previous work experience considered an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

- Undergraduate or Graduate Business degree (B.Comm, BBA, or MBA) in progress

- Assist with processing of new part set up and associated part attribute coding

- Assist with Supplier Ship Direct reporting and follow up

- Assist with SAP Past Due follow up and alerts as required for vacation coverage

- Assist in supporting all matters related to parts supply which may include: order processing parameters such as freezes / weekly order quantities, work instruction updates, and backorder reviews

- Other administrative support and projects as required
