**Customer Service-Cashier-Merchandising Assistant**

The Customer Service-Cashier-Merchandising Assistant is a key team member. Responsible for, providing exceptional customer service including cash and answering phones and assisting merchandiser with set-up/take down of store displays and general retail floor upkeep in a high-paced environment.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and assist with questions, answer and resolve customers’ queries
- General cashier duties
- Process refunds and returns; following refund policy
- Answer telephones in a timely manner. Process telephone orders per Company guidelines.
- Clean and maintain work areas
- Assist with pricing and merchandising.
- Perform store opening and closing duties
- Assist with merchandising products throughout the retail floor
- Stay informed of weekly promotions/sales. Ensure pricing is accurate.
- Participate and ensure Health and Safety compliance.
- Assist other departments as required.
- Multi-tasking required

**Qualifications**:

- Combination of education and work experiences.
- Front End Customer Service, POS, Displays and Merchandising
- Good organization and communication skills. Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages an asset.
- Positive and friendly attitude. Able to answer telephones in a friendly manner.
- Detail oriented. Good numeracy skills. Able to manage time effectively.
- 2-5 years of Customer Service/Cashier/Front End or Retail experiences.
- High School Diploma
- Works well in a team environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel frequently
- Lift; carry and load 30 pounds (minimum) weight requirements
- Flexible availability. Days, evenings, weekends including holidays as required.
