**Job Overview/Summary**

Under the direction of the Branch Manager, this position performs duties related to receiving and shipping merchandise. Verifies product and organizes its distribution. Prepares related documents. Maintains storage area.

**CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILBLE FOR INPERSON INTERVIEWS**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Verification of incoming and outgoing freight
- Helps with the daily truck scheduling
- Warehouse and yard cleanliness
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Safe forklift operation
- Verifying and signing off on all outgoing deliveries. Trucks do not leave the yard until a shipper clearly signs off on the paperwork. Copy goes to site for customer signature.
- Prepares all shipping documents for computer entry. Missing or changed items are clearly identified.
- Ensures all materials are stored neatly and put away in their proper locations.
- Assists in materials ordering.

**Qualifications (both required and that are an asset)**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer literate
- Organize outgoing shipments
- Pulling, packing, loading
- Strong sense of time and urgency
- Able to work in a team or independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, English
- Forklift certification required but we can update.

**Work Conditions**
- Warehouse environment
- Can be labour intensive (lift/move up to 80lbs)
- Tight deadlines
- Often changing demands
- Multi-tasking; can be stressful.
- Indoors and outdoors

**Why Should You Apply?**

This role is fulltime, Monday - Friday day shift (40hrs/week). The wage is $19-$21/hr to start and depends on experience.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
