Brooklin Veterinary Hospital is looking for an additional Animal Care Attendant to join our team We are a busy small animal clinic located near Whitby, Ontario. We offer a wide range of medical and surgical services to canine and feline patients.

We are looking for a hard working individual that thrives in a fast paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a cohesive team. Duties include assisting the veterinary technicians and veterinarians as required, patient comfort and care, and maintaining a clean hospital environment.

Shifts are generally a combination of day and evening shifts, from Monday through Friday. Previous animal and/or veterinary experience would be considered an asset, and/or a diploma in animal care from a recognized program.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Whitby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- animal care: 1 year (preferred)
- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (required)
