- Manage (including planning) the audit process to monitor the quality system and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Coordinate ISO registration - as applicable - and other compliance activities.
- Assist management to develop and analyze information and product specifications to determine compliance with regulations of agencies including but not limited to: FDA, DEA, Ministry of Health - Canada, and other product regulatory requirements.
- Establish, maintain and continuously improve the overall quality system.
- Provide leadership on key regulatory, customer and 3rd party audits.
- Assist leadership of QA to develop and implement quality-related training programs for management, field operations and QA associates. Hire, train, and develop associates. Work in concert with Continuous Improvement team to focus/direct CIP activities/workshops.
- Track quality assurance metrics for the organization.
- Act as primary customer interface for significant QA related issues/initiatives; coordinate participation of other members of the account team as appropriate.
- Act as primary advisor to the operations management team on QA issues/initiatives (e.g. problem solving, identification and escalation of significant QA issues).
- Assist leadership of QA to develop, distribute and maintain regular management reports.
- Read and interpret technical documents, and regulations.

**Required** **Experience and Qualifications**:

- **Required**: Bachelor’s degree or higher, in a related field
- **Required**:5-10 years of Quality Assurance experience (at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical environment preferred)
- **Required**:5 years of management and supervisory experience (at least 2 years supervising/managing a quality system in a complex/matrix organization
- **Required**: At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment such as FDA - USA, Health Canada etc.
- **Required**:Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively and thrive under pressure in a customer-facing role
- **_Preferred_**: Certification related to quality control (RAC, Six-Sigma, etc.)
- **_Preferred_**: Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Implementation of 5S or other related methodologies
