What Is the Opportunity?
What Will You Do?
- Process and advise on all types of transactions
- Perform data entry by inputting transactions for insurance policies, e.g., New Business, Changes, Cancellations and Renewals, Quotes, etc.
- Review, analyze, select, reject and price insurance risks referred by brokers and internal staff within delegated authority levels
- Obtain necessary information from brokers/insured's to process transactions correctly in a timely manner
- Correct processing edit errors
- Make underwriting decisions within delegated underwriter authority level
- Keeps up to date on regulatory changes, guidelines, etc. and other ongoing training
- Accountable for understanding and supporting emerging business plans and strategies
- May assist with special projects and other functions as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Insurance industry study preferred

- High school diploma or GED
