The Manager of Service is responsible of running the restaurant & banquet hall while representing a positive image for the company.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Opening and closing the restaurant/banquet hall
- Develop relationships with the clients & meet with clients for group events
- Develop & maintain knowledge of fine Italian cuisine plates
- Open & Close the day on the Maitre D system
- Ensure inventory list is up to date per week
- Manage the kitchen & front of the restaurant
**ESSENTIAL CORE COMPETENCIES**
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the clients
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime as assigned
- Must be able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
- Proficient in Microsoft’s office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
- Bilingual (English & French)
- Effective conflict management skills
- Knowledge of Maitre D system is an asset
- Knowledge of italian food is an asset
**EXPERIENCE - EDUCATION**
- Minimum of 5 years in the serving industry
- Italian restaurant experience is an asset

**RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE**
Le gérant du service est responsable de la gestion du restaurant et de la salle de banquet tout en représentant une image positive de l'entreprise.
**FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES DU POSTE**
- Ouvrir et fermer le restaurant/salle de banquet
- Prendre les réservations de manière appropriée par téléphone, par courriel ou par le système en ligne.
- Développer des relations avec les clients et rencontrer les clients pour les événements de groupe.
- Développer et maintenir la connaissance des plats de la fine cuisine italienne
- Ouvrir et fermer la journée sur le système Maitre D.
- S'assurer que la liste d'inventaire est à jour chaque semaine
- Gérer la cuisine et la réception du restaurant
**COMPÉTENCES ESSENTIELLES**
- Capacité à démontrer de solides compétences interpersonnelles et de communication.
- Maintenir une apparence professionnelle et donner une image positive de l'entreprise aux clients.
- Doit être en mesure de travailler le soir, la fin de semaine et de faire des heures supplémentaires selon les besoins.
- Doit être capable de travailler sous pression et de gérer des situations stressantes en période d'affluence
- Maîtrise des programmes de bureautique de Microsoft : Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Bilingue (anglais et français)
- Aptitude à gérer efficacement les conflits
- La connaissance du système Maitre D est un atout
- Connaissance de la cuisine italienne est un atout
**EXPÉRIENCE - FORMATION**
- Minimum de 5 ans dans l'industrie du service
- Expérience dans un restaurant italien est un atout
- Éducation secondaire ou équivalent prouvé et expérience de travail connexe

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
