**Some of what you will do**:
Under the direction of the Manager, Visual Merchandising + Signage Development and as part of the Marketing team, assist with the design, development, and implementation of all Staples in-store signing, including but not limited to permanent, promotional, informational and institutional signing. Collaborate with internal business partners, field associates and 3rd party contractors to ensure cost-effective, timely execution of all sign deliverables.

**Specifically, You Will**:
Production Services
- Assist with the bidding process for print and small fixture production.

Visual and Communication
- Work with merchandising, store design and vendor partners to create and implement visual solutions in support of seasonal campaigns
- Work closely with the Visual Merchandising Signage Operations team to coordinate and execute new and seasonal signage campaigns
- Assist in the execution of visual in-store marketing programs to support merchandise category sales, new business development, merchandise/marketing tests, and new product launches
- Work with merchandising, marketing and vendor partners to create, implement and maintain customer-oriented POP within store locations ensuring a single voice to the retail customer.
- Coordinate the production, delivery and implementation of sign elements across multiple store formats, designs and sizes to ensure correct and cost-effective implementation by store
- Work with planogram and merchandising teams to assist with creating fixture and sign solutions for existing and new planograms.
- Support sales promo with visual merchandising programs to support in-store promotions, signing or contests.
- Assist in reviewing store programs to assess execution, customer reaction and effectiveness of in-store communication programs.
- Assist in the development, production and maintenance of instructional communications for all signage programs
- Provide clear information for store associates and installers for the implementation of sign programs across multiple store formats and types.
- Ensure vendors follow the Staples signage standards

System Administration
- Maintain software programs including:

- Develop strong understanding of internal price signage and web systems to troubleshoot system/user issues
- Maintain and update content as needed for retail asset management web system
- Update signage on web-to-print website working with 3rd party vendor.
- Design and develop price signs using graphic tools and simple programing expressions.
- Test and troubleshoot the integration of price sign elements with database fields.

Other
- Participate in special projects.

**Some of what you need**:

- Post Secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
- 3-5 years project management experience/visual merchandising - retail industry preferred where collaboration with both internal and external teams is vital
- 3-5 years print purchasing and inventory management experience - retail industry preferred
- Strong computer skills needed including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modeling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access, data bases and AS400 is an asset
- Understanding of HTML/CSS
- Working knowledge of printing processes used for point-of-purchase signing - screen, offset and digital is an asset
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong conceptual and creative skills
