**About the Role**

As a Wholesale Buyer at CarDoor, you’ll play a key role in evaluating and pricing vehicles to maximize their value. You are a detail-oriented, analytical professional with a passion for the automotive industry. In this role, you’ll take ownership of vehicle appraisals, leveraging market data, auction trends, and condition reports to make informed, data-driven decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on CarDoor’s wholesale operations, identifying opportunities, optimizing pricing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**What You’ll Do**
- Manage inbound wholesale appraisal requests, providing timely and precise valuations
- Accurately appraise vehicles by evaluating condition, mileage, accident history, and market trends
- Create detailed vehicle condition reports to support inventory marketing and sales
- Maintain strong relationships with various buyers to ensure a smooth transaction process
- Monitor and analyze wholesale performance data to identify opportunities and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory flow and wholesale processes
- Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and pricing models to support decision-making

**What We’re Looking For**
- 2+ years of experience in automotive appraisal, wholesale buying, auction management, or a related role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in vehicle evaluations
- Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret market and auction data
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
- Passion for the automotive industry and knowledge of current market trends
- Familiarity with appraisal or estimating software (ex. Accutrade, vAuto, etc.)
