With a strong presence across North America and a reputation for excellence, we are seeking a full-time **Retail Operations & Talent Manager** based in **Vancouver** to join our leadership team.
This is a high-impact role that requires a confident, organized, and resourceful professional with strong experience in luxury retail management, team leadership, and operations.
**The Role**:
This person will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day retail activations in the Vancouver market, managing field staff, driving brand standards, handling interview and onboarding processes, and ensuring seamless scheduling and communication across accounts. This is a client-facing role that combines leadership, operations, and people management.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead a team of retail ambassadors and supervisors, ensuring high performance and professionalism at every touchpoint
- Manage all scheduling, shift planning, and coverage for activations in the Vancouver region
- Interview, onboard, and coach new staff, supporting retention and growth
- Act as the main point of contact for local luxury retail clients and internal leadership
- Monitor and uphold brand standards, delivering exceptional client and consumer experiences
- Handle administrative tasks including timesheets, reporting, onboarding documents, and performance tracking
- Support product launches, events, and activations through local coordination and troubleshooting
- Anticipate needs and ensure operational fluidity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Minimum 3-5 years in luxury retail, field team management, or retail operations
- Proven experience managing large, diverse teams in a client-facing environment
- Excellent communication skills — professional, proactive, and diplomatic
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a remote team
- Tech-savvy: proficient in Google Workspace, project management tools, and digital onboarding systems
- Vancouver-based and able to travel locally to airport or retail locations as needed
**Bonus if you have**:
- Experience in travel retail or airport-based operations
- Fluency in a second language
- HR or recruiting experience
