**Accounts Receivable and Sales Support Specialist - Full Time Star Marketing - Surrey, British Columbia**

Star Marketing is one of Canada’s leading Specialty Food Distributors and has been in operation for over 47 years. Star Marketing represents over 55 brands from around the world and services all classes of trade in the Consumer Packaged Goods grocery segment. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Accounts Receivable**
- Record EFT, cheque, and credit card transactions in ERP system
- Generate and send invoices, account statements, and payment reminders.
- Reconcile customer remittances to daily deposits including identification of short payments, disputes, and program credits taken by customer
- Maintain deduction and payment discrepancy reporting in order to research and resolve variances
- Entering customer credit notes
- Navigate customer portals to obtain deduction copies and back up
- Liaise with key account managers, warehouse and salespeople to validate customer deductions
- Follow up on past due customer accounts to ensure timely payments

**Sales Administration Support**
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing contracts, sell sheets, and marketing materials.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales data in the CRM system.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product or service information.
- Support the sales team in organizing and preparing for client meetings and presentations.
- Contribute to the creation of sales reports and dashboards to track performance.

**Desired Skills and Experience**

1. Post-secondary education in business or marketing, 2+ years in the CPG industry would be a strong benefit, but not critical

2. Demonstrated leadership capability, a can-do attitude with a bias to action, and an ability to work within formal and informal business teams.

3. Must have strong project management skills and able to manage timelines/ deadlines.

6. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Bilingualism (English and French) would be considered an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
