**Responsibilities**:
Manage the release of finished products according to the procedures in place and GMP and ensure the smooth running of release activities, the issuance of batch files and support to the production department.
Ensure that all instances of non-compliance, quality incidents and product failures (including customer complaints) are investigated and reported, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
Support the achievement of the quality assurance department's objectives
Manage change control activities related to the manufacturing / packaging sector
Ensure that all corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to manufacturing / packaging activities are correctly identified, implemented and evaluated.
Present a summary to the Quality Council or Risk Management Council according to the pre-established schedule
Manage the supplier qualification program and external audits
Recruit and train the staff of the Operations Quality Assurance team
Publish activity reports and monitor performance indicators related to subordinates
Approve the documents

in the change control process and verify that all impact assessments are performed
Participate in other tasks such as: the review of SOP / Employment assistance, review of the quality management system, as instructed by the Vice-President (VP) QA
Ensure the replacement of the V.P. QA responsible for the quality systems
Participate in the continuous improvement of processes by interconnecting with the various departments

Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the field of quality assurance within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in personnel management
Bilingual essential (French et English)
Membre de l'ordre des chimistes (an asset)
Well organized and detail oriented
Professional attitude and accountable for results
Creator of enthusiastic and dynamic relationships
